Welcome to Our Website

The Cynthiana Rotary Club was founded in 1923 and meets each Thursday at 12:00 noon at Biancke's Restaurant. Biancke's Restaurant is located at the corner of Pleasant and Main streets in downtown Cynthiana.

Haiti House Prototype

Under the leadership of Rotarian Avi and the collaboration of several of the Cynthiana Rotarians, the Haiti House at Veterans' Flat Run Park is complete. It is a low cost structure made from local materials that can fulfill the needs of the people of Haiti in replacing the many homes that were lost in last years earthquake. Stop by the park and take a tour.

Young Adult Choir

Good Shepherd Orphanage

The Young Adult Choir from the Good Shepherd Orphanage in Carrefour, Haiti visited the Cynthiana Rotary Club luncheon meeting on August 11, 2011. They are under the direction of Gayle Parker of Bridgeton, NJ. Ms. Parker has been working with the choir since the members were 9-10 years old. They completed a two week tour in New Jersey this past year and are in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky for a two week tour this year. They arrived on August 1 and will return to Haiti on August 16. While in Kentucky they are staying at the Wesley Foundation on the University of Kentucky campus. The choir is looking for sponsors to help offset the cost of the tours.
